OrientDig Services & Fees

Beyond seller price and freight, OrientDig lists optional warehouse services with published USD rates. Spreadsheet buyers use these when free QC photos are not enough, when volumetric weight is unclear, or when storage is running long. Confirm live prices in your account before ordering any add-on.

When optional services are worth it

Free warehouse intake already includes basic inspection photos. Paid services help when a decision hinge is missing, when you need a real pack weight before committing to a line, or when you are waiting on more spreadsheet finds and need more storage time. Skip extras that do not change a yes/no decision.

Rehearsal packing -- $3 / parcel

Request an actual pack-and-weigh before you submit the parcel order. OrientDig packs the selected items, weighs them, and notifies you by email and internal message. Useful for bulky spreadsheet finds -- shoe boxes, puffers, structured jackets -- where volumetric weight can surprise you.

Parcel photo -- $0.75 / parcel

Two photos of the outbound parcel: one before sealing and one after sealing. Helpful if you want a visual check of consolidation before dispatch, especially when combining many small accessories into one box.

Extend storage -- $1.50 / product ID / month

Applies to items already stored between 60 and 90 days. Maximum storage time stated in the value-added table is six months. Pair this with the 90-day free storage rule so goods are not treated as abandoned while you wait for one more haul item.

Detailed photos -- $0.15 each

Extra detail or measurement shots after free warehouse inspection, or requested at product-order time. Same published unit price in both cases. Use when a spreadsheet reference angle is missing from the free set -- size tags, sole logos, print alignment, zipper pulls, and similar close-ups.

Packaging notes at parcel submit

When submitting delivery, OrientDig shopping guidance allows remarks for services such as packaging removal, reinforcement, and insurance. Removing boxes may lower volume but can raise damage risk and may affect return eligibility if labels or packaging were removed earlier. Reinforcement can add weight. Note requests clearly in remarks.

How these fees interact with returns

If you remove packaging or labels as a service, some return paths become harder or unavailable under seller rules. Detail photos do not extend the five-day return window -- they only help you decide faster inside that window. Keep balance ready if you might return and owe shipping plus the $0.75 service fee.

Quick takeaway

Start with free QC photos. Add $0.15 detail shots for missing angles, $3 rehearsal packing when freight is uncertain, and storage extensions only if you are truly between 60 and 90 days and still consolidating.
